MSNBC quotes REUTERS as saying “Marijuana sold in U.S. stronger than ever…Rise in medical emergencies from what government expert calls ‘Pot 2.0′”

In the story, as I have read it on MSNBC.com (link) it mentions twice; three times if your count the headline, a rise in medical emergenices because of new stronger pot and hash.

I want to let anyone who cares know that this article contains no sources, nor mentions any factual data about where, how many or what methods they use to calculate this “rise” in pot related emergencies.

What the hell can it do to you? If you’re too stupid to smoke, don’t smoke. If you fall down the stairs, or get into a car wreck, maybe you shouldn’t be smoking so much dude. Get your face out the bag already.

I mean come on? Do these people have athsma? Or bronchitis? As far as I know only one guy has died from smoking pot, and he smoked like 3 pounds to the face non-stop until he died of something that almost no one even knows about: cannabinoid toxicity syndrome.

I really hate the news media and it’s spin on shit like this. Especially when they try to scare people into willing submission. You know they make fun of us for this in other countries? Just like the news media in France calling our culture barbaric when they discuss the Virginia Tech shootings.

Oh how I long to return to a European perspective on the world.
